Former Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Dan Quaye has called on supporters of the club to be wary of some of the negative criticisms they make about their players.
His plea comes on the back of negative criticism of players from supporters that emanate when things do not go well for the club.
The Phobia legend insists that such negative attacks on the players have a way of affecting some of them and must be stopped going forward.
In a recent interview, Dan Quaye shared, “The fans should allow the players do their work in peace, sometimes some of the words from the fans are not encouraging and goes a long way to haunt the players in their career”, he said.
He added, “I'm self-sufficient and a responsible man who takes care of my family, but it sometimes disheartening to hear some fans in an unpleasant way”.
Hearts of Oak is currently training ahead of the possible return of the Ghana Premier League.
