Ghana international Daniel Amartey is enjoying an unbeaten home record with English Premier League Champions Leicester City after holding Southampton to a 0-0 draw on Sunday.

The Foxes who lie 12th on the league log, have not lost at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League since September 2015, a club-record 19-match unbeaten stand.

Their last defeat came in a 5-2 defeat to Arsenal, 372 days ago and are still fighting on to protect that record. Speaking to the Press after the game, Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri appreciated the fans for their support en route their fine home record.

"A clean sheet, a point and, once again, our fans gave us so much energy. We needed that. I want to say thank you." He said.

The Black Stars defender who was played in midfield against Southampton lasted for the entire duration of the game and is expected to join the Black Stars on Monday as they prepare for the world cup qualifier against Uganda in Tamale.
