Defender Daniel Heber scored at the wrong end in FC Magdeburg's 3-0 defeat to Greuther Fürth on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams attempted to exert control over the game, but none was able to establish distinct visual advantages. The players of Furth were uneasy following the recent failures, whilst the players of Saxony-Anhalt appeared confident based on the current results.

Ragnar Ache generated most of the risk among the Furthern, but he rarely projected genuine danger. Ache, on the other hand, got his first chances in the fourth and 25th minutes. Furth's Petkov got the finest chance in the 34th minute, but he missed the ball.

The FC Magdeburg acted self-disciplined and well organized. However, there was little going forward, Magdeburg did not get their first shot on goal until the 45th minute. In the second half, Fürth made the early decision with a double strike and a 2-0 lead.

Daniel Heber put the ball into his own net in the 69th minute. Lukas Petkov made it 3-0 in the 75th minute.
