Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has returned to FC St. Pauli after the exit of the Black Stars from the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The talented attacking midfielder was one of the 27 players that represented the national team of the West African country at the ongoing AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

Although he had a good tournament, the Ghana team was not strong enough and suffered elimination at the group stage.

After the last game against Comoros last Tuesday, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh travelled back to Germany on Thursday.

Although he arrived in time for the game against Hamburg on Friday, the attacker was left out of the FC St. Pauli squad for the game.

While the team will go on to lose, they remain firm in their resolve to continue fighting to secure promotion to play in the German Bundesliga.

The return of star man Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is a huge boost for the team in that regard.
