Ghana defender Daniel Opare provided an assist for Zulte Waregem on Sunday afternoon when the team lost 3-1 to Royal Antwerp at the Regenboogstadion in the Belgian Pro League.
The full-back started the encounter for his team and managed to enjoy a decent game. He was on hand to set up Jean-Luc Dompe to score to shoot the home team into the lead after just 7 minutes of play.
As a result of a resilient performance from Royal Antwerp, the team climbed from behind to win 3-1.
Daniel Opare’s compatriot, Nana Ampomah climbed off the bench to replace Simen Kristiansen Jukleroed on the 60th minute to give the away team a boost.
With a dazzling performance, Nana Opoku Ampomah assisted Cristian Benavente for his team’s 3rd goal of the day.
Other goals from Faris Haroun and Martin Hongla handed Royal Antwerp the win.
