Daniel Sturridge Gives Pair of Young Liverpool Fans a Gift to Remember After Spurs Win

Not only did Daniel Sturridge net two goals at Anfield earlier this week, but he also made sure two young Reds supporters had a Liverpool experience to remember.


After his goals saw Liverpool through to the quarter finals of the EFL Cup with a 2-1 victory over Tottenham, he rewarded two die-hardLiverpool fans for sticking around after the match.Sturridge gave them one of his shirts each, and took to Instagram to profess his love for his fans.

He captioned the image with:Met a family in the car park and gave the kids my shirts. Love my fans.�


The two young supporters were not the only people Sturridge met at Anfieldpost-match though.


Hisacquaintancesincluded high-profile British boxerAmir Khan. The former light-welterweight world champion even gave the Liverpool striker a glove as a gift, and Sturridge took to Instagram again to show his thanks.

This time he wrote:"Shoutout to @amirkingkhan for coming through to the game tonight and thanks for the glove."


That was not the end of Sturridge's social media flurry though, as he posted one last time to promotehis new range of personalised hats.

He wrote to his 2.6m followerson Instagram:@dstudgehats coming soon¦.�


The logo featured on the caps symbolises Sturridge's celebration, which he will be hoping will make more frequent appearances in a Liverpool shirt than it has so far this season.
