Danish-born attacker of Ghanaian descent, Danny Kwasi Amankwaa will not be handed a contract at Randers FC following his trial period at the club, footballghana.com can report.

Last week, this portal reported that the 26-year old forward had commenced a trial period with the club in hopes of securing a contract for the 2020/2021 football season.

At the end of the trials, Randers FC has not been convinced and have decided to pass the opportunity of signing Danny Amankwaa.

According to Soren Pedersen who is the club’s sporting director, the winger could not play at the level the technical team was hoping for.

“There will be no agreement with Danny Amankwaa this time. He has done really well and developed a lot in the time he has been here, but we still think it was too far to his previous level”, the director told Bold.dk

He added, “We can easily see what he can and maybe can get back to, but the road there is too long in relation to what we need now”.

In line with the decision by Randers FC, Danny Amankwaa is now looking at other options. He hopes to secure a move to a club before the transfer window shuts.
