Darmstadt 98 skipper Fabian Holland has showered praises on Ghanaian midfielder Eric Berko following an impressive performance against Hamburger SV last Friday.
Berko who joined Darmstadt from Dynamo Dresden in summer 2019 scored his first competitive goals for the club over the weekend to help his side beat Hamburger SV 2-1 at away in the German Bundesliga II.
"It's a buffalo that is incredibly difficult to defend." Holland said.
Berko also said, "We struck mercilessly and freezing cold and that's what it takes to survive here.”
Darmstadt are 12th on the Bundesliga II table with 35 points.
