The sports director of the Spanish second division club CD Tenerife, Juan Guerrero, confirmed that Dauda Mohammed had signed a three-year contract.

"We will pay the transfer fee to Anderlecht spread over those three years," he said.

The forward has struggled to break into the first team since joining the club in 2017 from Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko.

Dauda Mohammed's journey at Anderlecht has come to an end. At the age of 17, Purple-White brought the striker away from Ghana. He found his way to the goal with ease in the u-21 squad, but the breakthrough did not come in the main team.

Loan stints at Vitesse and Esbjerg also failed. He played well at Cartagena last season. He was able to persuade Tenerife there. Tenerife has signed him on a permanent basis after a year on loan.

Since joining Tenerife in the summer, he has featured 26 times, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.
