Real Tamale United head coach, Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko says the return of David Abagna will push them to achieve great results.
Abagna, who joined the club before the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season has been a kingpin for the Northerners.
However, the club has been struggling without Abagna after sustaining a toe injury whiles in the camp of the Black Stars during the AFCON in January.
The former Ashgold midfielder made a return against Asante Kotoko in the matchday 25 games staged at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
RTU edged out Asante Kotoko in Tamale by 2:1 yesterday, and has surprisingly, won four points from the Porcupine Warriors this season.
Speaking after the game, the former Medeama gaffer, Shaibu Tanko, believes his comeback will help the club to achieve its objective for the season.
"Infact, he has come back, and his coming back I should think is something that's going to be sustained," he said.
"I believe his sustenance will really push the team to wherever we want to get to."
RTU will travel to Elmina to play Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Complex on Sunday in the matchday 26 games.
