Coach David Duncan has stated that he is still coach of Asante Kotoko despite management decision of asking him to step aside.
Duncan after a difficult start to the season was asked to step aside for his assistant Michael Osei to take charge.
Looking at how well the team is doing under Michael Osei, it doesn’t look like Duncan will be reinstated as coach of the team.
But the former Hearts of Oak coach remains defiant and says his contract has not been terminated and as far as he is concerned he has a contract with the team.
“I signed a contract to manage the club and that contract has not been terminated so I am still coach of the club,” he said
“Unless you know anything otherwise but I know I am still coach of the team.”
Duncan took over from Mas-Ud Dramani last year and has been in charged for 26 competitive games.
