Inter Allies new-kid Samuel Mensah Konney says his debut Ghana Premier league goal against Ebusua Dwarfs at the weekend will serve as a catapult for his progression.
Konney who joined Inter Allies this season from Division two outfit Charity FC, slotted his first ever Inter Allies goal on his first start, he had made his debut against Hearts of Oak on opening day when he came on as a sub late in the game.
“I didn’t get enough playing time in my first game, I had just 10 minutes but this game was great.”
“I thank the coach for giving me enough playing time against Dwarfs, I am sure I proven to him that I’m capable of doing whatever they expect of me.”
“This goal I scored is certainly going to propel me to do great things; everyone should what out for the name ‘S. Mensah’.” He told Footballghana.com
Tasting top flight football for the first time, Konney has shown glimpses of being a great addition for Inter Allies.
The 21-year-old center forward has the ability to outwit his markers with his talented skills and speed. He can shoot from distance and a very good passer of the ball.
