Defender Abdul Ibrahim excited with new challenge at Portuguese club Famalicão

Ghanaian international, Abdul Ibrahim has expressed his excitement to his transfer to Portuguese outfit Futebol Clube de Famalicão.

The former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) defender has this month sealed a transfer to the club in the ongoing summer transfer window ahead of the next football season.

“Abdul Ibrahim is the latest new guy on the squad of Futebol Clube de Famalicão. The 21-year-old left defender signed a contract valid until the end of the 2022/2023 season”, a club statement said to confirm the transfer.

Speaking in an interview, Abdul Ibrahim says he believes he has made an important step in his career.

“Signing for Futebol Clube de Famalicão is another important step in my career. I know the project that the club outlined and I am very excited to help the club continue its upward process in Portuguese football”, the 21-year old said as quoted on the website of the club.
