Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Emmanuel Agyemang has noted that he is happy Dr. Kwame Kyei has been named as the board chairman for the club.
The Manhyia Palace, the seat of the Asantehene of Asantement recently announced that His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has named Dr. Kwame Kyei as the board chair of a 9-member board of directors to serve as the highest decision making body of the club.
According to Agyemang Badu, the bankroller has done a lot for the club, and players are happy he has been given the nod to continue serving the Ghana Premier League giants.
"All of us appreciate his work from day one. He is a father and happy seeing him maintained. We already knew he would be given the nod to continue because his explicit works are outrageous so we congratulate him and wish him well in succeeding in the next tenure", the defender said in an interview with Light FM.
Agyemang Badu has been an integral part of Kotoko's team this season and made 12 appearances in the Premier League before the campaign was put on hold as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
