The player joined the Mauve and Yellows last year and has been impressive for the side despite not playing a full season with the side.

He is currently on loan at Spanish lower division side Union Deportiva Montijo but has been tied down with a new contract that extends his stay in Tarkwa by two more years.

A statement posted on the club’s official Twitter page confirmed, “Defender Gideon Acquah has signed a two-year contract extension which will tie him to the club until 2023”.

The former Bofoakwa Tano player is on his second loan spell from the club after he was sent to Spanish side Extremadura UD last year after an explosive debut season in Tarkwa.
