Defender Jeremie Frimpong excel for Bayer Leverkusen in big win against former club Celtic

Dutch defender of Ghanaian descent, Jeremie Frimpong displayed impressive form on Thursday night to help his Bayer Leverkusen outfit to hammer his former club Celtic 4-0 in the Europa League.

The youngster joined the German Bundesliga club from the Scottish giants last summer and has since been working to take his game to the next level.

In a crucial encounter against Celtic last night, the full-back who was back at a familiar grounds put in a good shift but this time around for a different club.

He was instrumental for Bayer Leverkusen as the team ran riot to record an impressive 4-0 win the end of a pulsating contest.

Courtesy of the win, the German club stays top of Group G of the Europa League with six points from two games.
