As reported by footballghana.com in the last 24-hours, the versatile full-back who can also play on the wings is on the verge of sealing a move to the Ghana Premier League giants.

Today, sources have reported that Patrick Asmah has passed his medical and should wrap up his move to the Porcupine Warriors club by the close of the week.

The player will be joining Asante Kotoko with a lot of experience after playing for a number of clubs in Europe including Atalanta BC, US Avellino, US Salernitana, and Slovakian Fortuna Liga outfit, FK Senica.

It is understood that the 24-year old has already agreed to sign a 3-year contract with Kotoko and will be officially announced once he puts pen on paper to ink the dotted lines.

Already, Asante Kotoko has this week completed the signings of midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh and defender Yusif Mubarik. The club is set to sign a striker from Uganda and a couple of players on the local scene as well before the start of the new football season.
