Ghanaian international Rashid Sumaila has returned to training with his Al Qadsiya teammates in Kuwait after the Coronavirus (Covid-19) break.

The highly-rated defender started the 2019/2020 season in Kuwait on a very good note and managed to establish himself as one of the best players in the division before the campaign was suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis.

As authorities eye a return of football in the country, clubs are gradually returning to training to regain their fitness.

Ghana’s Rashid Sumaila who just like every player in Kuwait has been at home for the last two months has returned to training.

The 25-year-old together with his teammates have started training with guidance from Al Qadsiya manager Pablo Franco.

Meanwhile, contract extension talks between the Kuwaiti side and the center-back has stalled even though the club wants him to stay.
