Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has named his teammate Philippe Coutinhoas the Premier League's best player, calling the Brazilian a 'pleasure' to play alongside as the Reds continue to climb the table.

Quoted by theMirror, Lovren said: "In my opinion, yes (Coutinho is the best player in the league), of course. I have the pleasure to play with this guy. He is playing for Brazil as well.He is a main part of the team, but like I said, it's not an individual thing, it's the teamwork today. It is the team that won, not just one player.
"When a team works really good then this individual comes out and I think it was Philippe Coutinho.Coutinho was not just outstanding this time, he was like this last year, from the first day, but especially this time, he had perfect crosses.

We scored from set-pieces but we are dangerous at set-pieces. You know if you have a good cross and you arrive at the right time, you can score.
While the majority of their title rivals face the challenge of European football in midweek, the Reds have a full week off before they host Watford in the league on Sunday afternoon as Jurgen Klopp's side look to continue their push for a genuine title challenge.
