Spanish La Liga side Deportivo Alaves has earned 4 million euros from the sale of midfielder Mubarak Wakaso to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Sunning.
The Ghanaian international has been in talks with the Asian side in the past week and finally completed his transfer to his new club earlier today after passing a medical examination on Monday.
Reports have revealed that the player’s move has seen Deportivo Alaves bagging 4 million euros in the process.
It is understood that the weight in the money contributed to the club’s decision to sell the midfielder who they regard as an important asset for their team.
Mubarak Wakaso has left Spain after 3 fruitful years and will be officially unveiled to fans of his new club tomorrow. He will subsequently join his new teammates for pre-season ahead of the start of the Chinese Super League.
