Deputy Youth and Sports Minister-Designate, Pius Enam Hadzide has expressed his disappointment in the low turnout at the Super Clash game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Hadzide, who contested on the ticket of the ruling party New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Ketu North constituency during the December general elections but lost to James Klutse Avedzi of the National Democracy Congress (NDC), was last week named by president of the nation Nana-Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo as one of the 50 persons who will be vetted for the position of deputies in the various ministries.

He revealed his love for one of Ghana's glamorous clubs Asante Kotoko when interviewed on Happy FM after concerns were raised about his sporting background.

“I’m really disappointed with the turnout of supporters at this game. I was expecting a much bigger crowd than this because you could count the empty seats, which was bad,” he told reporters.

Pius Hadzide will be working with Isaac Asiamah, who is the substantive Minister in charge of the Youth and Sports Ministry of parliament once the mandatory vetting process is concluded.
