Highly-rated midfielder, Elvis Opoku is set to receive GHS3,000 as his monthly salary at Legon Cities FC.
The experienced midfielder secured a move to the Capital-based club on transfer deadline day from Ghana Premier League defending champions Aduana Stars Football Club.
According to Light FM’s Opoku Afriyie Richmond (PKAY), Legon Cities compensated Aduana Stars GHS50,000 before completing the late signing of the player.
In addition, the two clubs have agreed that Aduana will receive a percentage in the onwards transfer fee.
Meanwhile, Legon Cities FC has also given the player GHS60,000 as an enticement fee and GHS5,000 as transportation.
Elvis Opoku will additionally receive a monthly salary of GHS3,000 at Legon Cities FC and have a rented apartment worth GHS500 every month.
