Ghana Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has disclosed that the team is focused on beating Rwanda in their last Nations Cup qualifier on Saturday September 3.

Speaking to the media, Agyemang-Badu said: “I think everything is on course. Most of the players are in. It’s just a few of them who are yet to arrive in the country. The training sessions are going on very well and we are focusing on the game on Saturday.”

The former Kotoko midfielder also revealed that the bond between the local players and the foreign based player have been really great.

“Most of the players who are here we know them and what they are doing for their respective clubs. Dauda Mohammed has been in great form for Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori, I don’t want to talk [too much] about [his abilities]. We all know his prowess. Samuel Tetteh just left for Europe and is wonderful and everyone is training well. We are like one family here and everyone is training well,” he noted.

Agyemang-Badu has been a key member of the national team and is expected to bring his experience to bear on the game. Twenty players have reported to camp with a few more expected to join the team on Thursday.
