Black Princesses head coach, Mas-ud Didi Dramani is happy his team will finally have the chance to move their training camp closer to Papua New Guinea ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The team which was drawn in Group C alongside France, United State of America and New Zealand, have been in camp at the Prampram Soccer center of Excellence for more than three weeks.

However, the sports ministry has released the needed cash to enable the team travel on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 for Kent, Australia where they will camp for seven days before moving out to the tournament venue Papua New Guinea.

The former Kotoko coach believes his charges have completed about 75% on their preparations needed for the tournament at home and will need more exposure out there to finalize their work.

“The foreign camping will give us more idea of what we are going to do and psychologically prepare for Papua New Guinea.”

“Our moving out of camp to Australia is a relief since it will help us have enough time to adjust and prepare well for the competition.” He told Joy FM.

Ghana will begin their campaign at the FIFA U-20 Women’s world cup on November 14, 2016 against New Zealand before taking on France on November 17 and finish off at the group stage with favourites USA.
