Didier Deschamps Claims Record Signing Paul Pogba Needs Time to Settle at Manchester United

France head coach Didier Deschamps claims that world record signing Paul Pogba needs more time to settle into his new life at Manchester United.

Pogba, who scored his first goal since returning to the Red Devils in the summer in the 4-1 thrashing of Leicester, has enjoyed a mixed return to the Premier League.

One man who knows Pogba well is his international coach Deschamps, who according to theDaily Mail, claimed during his press conference that: "He has changed his club team and needs to find his bearing with his new team-mates.


"With Paul, we always expect more. When he does something neutral, often it is not enough.He is someone we expect to make assists in every game “ there is an expectation that is too large."


Pogba signed for former club Manchester United in the summer for a world record fee from Italian giants, Juventus. Although he has shown glimpses as to why United splashed the cash, many believe thathe has yet to live up to his price-tag.

The23-year-oldhas recentlycome under criticism for missing a number of goodchances during histeam's 1-1 draw to Stoke on Sunday. But Deschamps added of his player: "Paul is okay in his own head. He knows what he wants."
