Ace actor and former Assembly man for Ayidiki Electoral area, Mikki Osei Berko says he will take Accra Hearts of Oak to the next level if given the team for two-years.

The famous actor who is popularly known in movie circles as 'Master Richard' revealed that Hearts of Oak has been the club of his heart ever since he started following football and it has been his long wish to one day lead the team as a substantive coach, and he sees no better time to do that than the current predicament the club finds itself in after going six consecutive seasons without winning the premier league trophy.

He implored the bankroller of the club, Togbe Afede XIV to hand him the reins of the club for two-years, which he will use to transform the team to its former glory days.

"I've always supported Hearts of Oak and it pains me to the marrow that i've not being able to help. I believe in my qualities as a coach and if i can be given the club for just two-years, i will take them to the next level and make them the Hearts of Oak we the supporters always crave for," Osei Berko declared on Happy FM's Wamputu sports.

"I've done my coaching badges and i know i'm 100% capable of delivering the job if only Togbe will appoint me as the head coach to lead the team, and he'll see what i can do." Credit: Reuben Obodai
