Accra Lions scored in either half to hand Tema Youth their first defeat of the season in a 2-0 win on match day 22 of the Division One League at the Tema Park on Wednesday.
The win moves Lions back to the summit of the Zone three table with 47 points – having lost it to Tema Youth for seven weeks.
Salifu Rauf scored his 18th goal of the season to in the 74th minute after Oliver Amedor had given them the lead in the 39th minute.
Tema Youth now drops to the second place with 45 points after 22 matches in the second tier League.
In another exciting Zone three fixtures – Emmanuel Gyan scored a screamer as Heart of Lions pip Akosombo Krystal Palace 1-0 at the Kpando Park while Kotoku Royals inflicted a 1-0 win on Accra Young Wise FC at the Blue Skies Park at Doboro.
