A number of national newspapers across Europe have continued to release information from an enormous data dump from the 'Football Leaks' website - with Belgian newspaperLe Soirrevealing on Monday nightthat Chelsea actually paid less than the reported £32.5m for Eden Hazard back in 2012.
12 newspapers, including the Sunday Times, have worked for seven months to comb through 1.9TB of information handed to German paperDer Spiegel earlier in the year. Last Friday saw the initial reporting of the information obtained, with tax scandals galore, and more revelations are expected over the coming days and weeks.

Le Soir released contract details for a number of Belgium internationals on Monday night, but Hazard's deal was possibly the most interesting of the lot - with the media appearing to over-report the amount paid to Lille to the tune of €5m.
Whatever money the Blues saved on the transfer fee, though, they gave a significant chunk back to Hazard himself after the club's title-winning season of 2014/15, with the the Belgium international winning the league's Player of the Year award and triggering a bonus clause in his contract.

The clause was no minor one either - with Hazard marked down to receive an eye-watering €2.4m for picking up the accolade. Compare and contrast that to the bonus revealed to be in Kevin de Bruyne's Manchester City deal for the same award, a mere €60,000, plus a yearly salary increase of the same figure (around £1,000 per week).
Even a Ballon d'Or victory for the creative midfielder would barely net De Bruyne a tenth of what Hazard was slated to earn for his Player of the Year gong, with a €239,000 bonus written into the deal released this week.
