Sought-after Nzema Kotoko striker, Agyenim Boateng Mensah currently sits top of the Ghana Division One League standings after Matchday 13 of the ongoing campaign.
The 2019/2020 season of the lower division season commenced in January and has gradually taken shape. Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the league has been put on hold as a precautionary measure from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in line with the directive from the government.
On the top-scorers table after playing 13 games, Nzema Kotoko forward Agyenim Boateng is is leading the race for the Golden Shoe award with 10 goals. The outstanding attacker is tied at the top with Maxwell Boakye of Bibiani Goldstars FC who is also on 10 goals.
Both players lead the player in 3rd position by 4 goals and will hope to continue their fine form when the Division One League resumes after Ghana wins the fight against the Coronavirus.
