DONE DEAL: Anderlecht signing Sven Kums explains quitting Watford

Published on: 05 June 2017

Anderlecht have completed the signing of Watford attacker Sven Kums.

Kums spent last season on-loan at Udinese and HLN says Anderlecht have splashed out €7 million to sign the Belgium international.

The 29 year-old has signed a five-year contract and arrives as a replacement for Youri Tielemans, who has joined AS Monaco.

"After a visit to Watford, I chose to decide to return," said Kums. "At Watford, the game system would not suit me - I prefer to play football - just as I expected from my loan to Udinese.

"I was therefore pleased with Anderlecht's interest. I have always dreamed of playing here.

"Maybe I'll finish my career here."
