Prosper Narteh Ogum, head coach of Asante Kotoko has implored the supporters of the club to stay calm following their draw with Real Tamale United.

The Reds were held at home by the Premier League returnees in the matchday 8 games at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors drew first blood in the game right after returning for the second half through Cameroonian international Frank Mbella but the lead got cancelled by David Abagna on the 69th minute to split the points.

After the game, Narteh Ogum said the fans should not worry about the draw since there are a lot of games to be played.

"It was unfortunate we drew with RTU," he said after the game.

"This is the eighth match into the season. We are playing 38 games which means we have 30 matches to play so the fans should not worry.

"We will go back to the drawing board and correct the mistakes and ensure we return to winning ways," he added.

The stalemate leave Kotoko at the 3rd spot with 14 points.

Asante Kotoko will be hosted by struggling Legon Cities in the matchday 9 games this weekend.
