‘Don't use Africa as your toy, you idiots’ – KP Boateng slams doctors planning to test Covid-19 vaccines in Africa

German-born Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng has slammed French Doctors who have reportedly noted that they are planning to test Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines in Africa.

A report in the last couple of days have observed that French Doctors Jean-Paul Mira and Camille Locht wants to test BCG vaccines used for the treatment of Tuberculosis as vaccines for the covid-19 in Africa.

"Can we not try these studies just like in AIDS research, in Africa where there is no mask, treatment, intensive care, or prostitutes? Because they are more prone to getting sick, they are not protected”, Dr. Mira said in an interview on TV.

Dr. Locht in support of Dr. Mira's suggesting said: "You are right. We are already considering doing research in Africa in parallel with this research”.

Those revelations by the two doctors has not gone down well with many in Africa with some football stars including KP Boateng lashing out in fury.

In a post on social media, Besiktas forward KP Boateng said, "Don't use Africa as your toy, you idiots”.

Adding his voice to it, Cameroon and Barcelona legend Samuel Eto’o said: "Africa is not a test laboratory”.

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba also shared, “Africa is not a test laboratory. I condemn these degrading, false and racist remarks”.
