Borussia Dortmund has commenced contract extension talks with German-born defender of Ghanaian descent Lloyd Addo Kuffour.
The pacey left-back joined the German giants from Hannover Yth during the 2016/2017 season and has since steadily pressed through the various youth teams of the club.
Last season, Lloyd Addo Kuffour excelled for the Borussia Dortmund U-19 team by playing 9 games in all competitions – in the U19-Bundesliga West, and the Uefa Youth League -.
In a bid to keep the player at the club, officials of the club have started contract extension talks.
The club is impressed with the development of the 18-year-old dull-back and wants to keep him for next season.
His contract ends at the end of this season but Dortmund acknowledges his potential and wants to offer him the platform to continue developing.
