The majority shareholder for Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has been made the board chairman of a new board that has been set up by the club.
This comes on the back of the setting up of a new management committee which is being led by Emmanuel Frimpong as the Chief Executive Officer and Roy Arthur as the Sporting Director.
Setting up a board to supervise the management team in their dealings, club president Dr. Kwame Frimpong has been made the chairman.
He will be deputized by Abankoro Acheampong, popularly known as Nana Achiken and the Minority shareholder of the club.
Other members on the board according to Oyerepa FM are Yaw Fosu, Yaw Asabere, Nana Akwasi Fosu, and a representative from the mining firm AngloGold Ashanti.
