Dreams FC captain undaunted by Hearts of Oak threat

Skipper of Dreams FC Abdul Bashiru has questioned the strength of Hearts of Oak ahead of Sunday’s League game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Dreams FC will travel to Accra on Sunday to take on the Phobians in a tough game after both sides shared the spoils in the first round back in Dawu.

The league debutants who currently lie 7th with 23 points, will be hoping to get off to a good start in the second round by snatching the maximum points away against Hearts and captain Bashiru remains confident ahead of Sunday’s clash doubting the threat of his opponents.

“We have a lot of experienced players in our team who have played in such matches before so it’s not a new thing for us,” he told Dreamsfc.com. “We’ll go there and do what the coach tells us to do and I know that victory will be ours,” Bashiru said.

The Dawu based side who have just secured the services of ex-Black Stars goalkeeper Abukari Damba as goalkeeper’s trainer alongside numerous signings during the transfer window have declared their intentions of causing an upset this season.
