Dreams FC manager CK Akunnor has asked the top management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to allow Michael Osei to do his job. Osei has been under intense pressure following the team’s recent slump in form in the Ghana Premier League.
Before their game against Dreams FC which they won 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, Kotoko had picked up just two points in their last 7 games.
But Dreams coach Akonnor who played with Osei in Germany says he is the right man to lead the club.
“Michael Osei has seen it all, he has learnt a lot to coach Kotoko, he was there with Didi Dramani, and the same with David Duncan, he can still do the Job,” Akonor told the Press.
“I want to appeal to the Ashanti Region Media to allow Michael Osei to do his job, they should not be criticizing him , they should rather support him to succeed.
