Dreams FC coach CK Akunnor expects win over Techiman City

Dreams FC coach CK Akunnor says he expects nothing but victory in Sunday’s match against Techiman City. Dreams lost 1-0 to WAFA SC on Wednesday afternoon in a week 25 fixture at Sogakope despite a spirited performance from the players.

Dreams FC dropped to sixth place on the league table after the setback in midweek. But Manager Akonnor who is relishing a top four finish at the end of the season expects a resounding victory on Sunday.

Dreams FC has gone three games without a win and looks desperate to bounce back to winning ways against the Brong Ahafo based side having suffered a 1-0 loss in the reverse fixture at Techiman.

“A win in our next match is important,” Akonnor told www.dreamsfc.com in this week’s edition of ’24 HOURS AFTER’.

“Because we’ve dropped so many points in the last three matches and it’s not good enough.”

“We have to improve; we have to react quickly else it will be bad for us.” The former Ghana international went on to say.

A win for Dreams FC on Sunday will be a sweet revenge for Akonnor’s side who were at the receiving end of poor officiating in their previous meeting after referee Samuel Sukar disallowed two goals in Techiman.
