Dreams FC coach CK AKunnor unhappy with 2-2 home draw with Liberty Professionals

Dreams FC manager Akonnor says he is not satisfied with his side’s performance after drawing against Liberty Professionals in a mid-week duel.

The league debutants drew 2-2 against Liberty in a cagey encounter at the Theatre of Dreams in the Ghana Premier League Week 12 fixture, after going ahead twice with a brace from striker Lawson Bekui but a Latif Blessing 88th minute low strike denied Dreams FC an all-important win.

Akonnor says he’s not satisfied with the team and believes the equalizers were avoidable as he expected improvement from the last game.

“I am not satisfied with the way we’ve played, we still struggled as our previous matches and its headache for me,” he said in at the post match presser.

“Once you access the problems and got it you expect improvement and if they’re not really improving or we’re not improving to go forward then it becomes an issue for me but I think it’s an issue that we can work on and hopefully it will yield good results.”

The draw means Dreams FC are still placed on sixth position with 18 points and play host to Medeama SC in another must-win encounter on Sunday in the Week 13 of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League.
