Dreams FC General Manager Ameenu Shadow has confirmed there are ongoing talks between him and Ghana FA of becoming the next team manager of the Black Stars.
Earlier reports in the local media suggested Ameenu Shadow has been appointed as the team manager of the national team ahead of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Shadow said there is no confirmation yet with regards to the appointment but confirmed there are talks ongoing.
“The truth of the matter is that there have been talks, we have had discussions. There is no confirmation now but the truth of the matter is that there’s been discussions with respect to that position. “he said.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will host Angola on March 23, 2023 at the Baba Yara Stadium before the reverse fixture in Luanda four days later.
The Black Stars lead Group E of the qualifiers with four points, followed by Angola who are also on four points before Central African Republic and Madagascar follow in that order.
