Committee member Member of Ghana FA Normalization Committee, Duah Adonteng has revealed his frustration following the decision to replace him on the committee by Samuel Osei Kuffour.
The Ex-Black Star defender Sammy Kuffour will operate as a member of the Normalization Committee formed by CAF/FIFA and Government of Ghana beginning next month. Their mandate is to bring the game to normalcy following the aftermath of Anas piece.
The entrenched step taken by FIFA to replace Duah Adonteng in favour of Samuel Osei Kuffour ahead of their approved mandate of five months in office, having elapsed six months without any roadmap for the game, surprises Adonteng since whatever was done to have him kickout transpired at his blind side and have no idea the rational behind such step.
He believes FIFA should have replaced all members of the committee and not just him.
"According to Dr Kofi Amoah, he has received an email from FIFA instructing I should be replaced by Samuel Osei Kuffour. If FIFA, based my exclusion on incompetence then I think we should have all been axed from the committee but I am not worried about it".
"I am not incompetent. Everything that has happened was done on my blind side. I don't know the rational and intention behind it", he told Kumasi Fm.
He added that "It's true that Dr. Kofi Amoah has told me I am no more a member of the Normalization committee but has been replaced by Samuel Osei Kuffour".
"Dr.Kofi Amoah said the letter is from FIFA. I am surprised because I don't know why FIFA took such a decision. I am sure someone is behind this. I am very sure and I don't know why someone will do this".
