Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey was on target when Ajax suffered defeat to Borussia Dortmund in a preseason friendly on Sunday.
The 21-year-old started and lasted the entire duration as his outfit suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Bundesliga giants.
Dortmund shot into the lead after just six minutes into the encounter through German international Julian Brandt but Ajax responded quickly a minute later, when Brian Brobbey found the back of the net in the 7th minute.
The first department of the game ended 1-1 at the Signal Iduna Park.
Improved performance saw Dortmund grab two more goals to secure victory over the Ducth giants.
German youngster Felix Nmecha climbed off the bench to hit a brace to propel Dortmund to victory on home turf.
