Head coach of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, Prosper Nartey says he is very happy with the splendid performance shown by this team but not proud about it.

The University of Cape Coast lecturer turned around the fortunes of the Cape Coast based club, lifting them from the bottom of the table to the middle when J. E. Sarpong was shown the exit door.

Dwarfs recorded a sweet victory against Kumasi Asante Kotoko beating them 4:1 but the young tactician who does not want his team to go under pressure says he prefers to be happy with their performance to becoming proud with it.

“I am not proud of that achievement but I am happy. I would prefer saying I am happy instead of saying I am proud of that,” Prosper told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I think it has been a collective effort that has brought us this far.

“The chemistry between the players and the support of the management has been fantastic and I must acknowledge all these.

“The relationship between the coaches and the playing body has been marvelous and that has been a major driving force.

“That makes me happy but does not make me feel proud,” he added.

With four matches to end the Ghana Premier League, Dwarfs are with 34 points occupying the 9th position and will play Medeama SC at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium in the match day 27 fixture.
