The 2016/17 Ghana Premier League match day five clash between Ebusua Dwarfs and Medeama SC has been postponed from Mrch 5 to March 6 because of an important national event as part of Ghana's 60th anniversary celebrations.

The coordinator of the Cape Coast Stadium, Mr Abaidoo Wilson, explained that, the stadium has been booked by the Ghana@60 Planning Committee to host an event on March 5.

“It is true the match has been postponed, as part of Ghana’s 60th anniversary there will be a program at the stadium as we usher in the celebration,” he told Sportscrusader.

He added: “The stadium is not hosting any church program as purported in the local media, as they day for program had already been scheduled long before the Dwarfs clash.”
