Dynamo Dresden interested in Rot-Weiss Erfurt defender Aaron Frimpong Manu

Dynamo Dresden is interested in signing Rot-Weiss Erfurt's Aaron Frimpong Manu according to Thuringer Allgemeine.

The 23-year-old German-born Ghanaian center defender, who was acquired from a former third-tier club last season, appeared in 30 games and assisted on three goals.

Dynamo Dresden has started strengthening their squad for next season they have parted ways with German-born Ghanaian defender Michael Akoto. After months of monitoring Dynamo Dresden views Aaron Frimpong Manu as a perfect defender to help take them to the next level in the 2023/24 season.

Aaron Frimpong Manu spent his youth career at FC Saarbrucken and FC Nuremberg before moving to Erfurt two years ago through Schweinfurt.

So far in the regional league, the defender has appeared 46 times. In addition, he has 15 appearances in the Oberliga. His contract with Rot-Weiss Erfurt expires on June 30, therefore Dynamo may sign him for free.

Aaron Frimpong Manu's current market value is 100,000 euros according to Transfermarkt.
