EA Sports Respond to Mats Hummels and Give Him the Upgrade He Wants on FIFA

Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels has received the perfect birthday present from EA Sports, an upgrade to his FIFA 17 ultimate team card.

The reliable central defender celebrated his 27th birthday on Thursday, and when asked what a perfect present would be,he answered : "Speed > 70 in the next FIFA game".

And although EA Sports originally didn't respond, they gave him a belated birthday gift by upgrading his speed from 64 to 85 on Friday.

Here's their reply: "Sorry we were a bit SLOW to respond, wanted to wait until the big day arrived. Happy Birthday @matshummels! DM us so we can send your gift!"

The gift prompted famous YouTuber and FIFA player 'Bateson87' to also ask EA Sports for a gift, sending the game manufacturers a reminder that his birthday is coming up in January.
