Eddie Howe praised his side's self belief and attitude after they beat Liverpool 4-3 in a thrilling matchat the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

Bournemouth twice fought back from two goals down to turn the game on its head and beat Liverpool for the first time in their history after Ake bundled in during stoppage time.

Howe toldBournemouth'swebsite:"I don't think I'll ever forget this one! There was a real contrast of emotions, it's right up there with the game we had with Everton last year. At half-time we were in real trouble, Liverpool were excellent and really showed their quality. Despite that though, the players never lost their self-belief and that's huge.

"It's something we've tried to protect from our promotion from the Championship. We didn't want to lose that spirit and our honesty going into the Premier League. That's the most pleasing thing from today, we've maintained that spirit and further enhanced it."

The game changed when injury to Junior Stanislas forced Eddie Howe to bring on Ryan Fraser who changed the game for the Cherries by putting in a 'Man of the Match' performance.

Howe was quick to praise the Scottish winger and said:"He was absolutely magnificent today in my opinion. He's trained like that for the last three or four weeks, he's been very patient so I'm pleased he could do that in front of the home fans.

"Technically and tactically he's excellent, it was a great finish for his goal and this will do him the world of good, we're delighted with Ryan."
