Eddie Nketiah elated after scoring in Leeds United’s draw with Preston

English-born Ghanaian international, Eddie Nketiah has shared his content after scoring on Tuesday night to help his Leeds United side draw 1-1 with Preston North End in the English Championship.

In a match week 13 fixture played at the Deepdale stadium, Preston made good use of home advantage and neutralized the strengths of their opponent.

A pulsating encounter in the first half ended goalless with both sets of attackers missing some goal scoring opportunities.

An improved performance from the home side in the second half saw them taking the lead on the 74th minute courtesy a strike from Tom Barkhuizen.

Later in the game, Eddie Nketiah who was introduced as a substitute to replace Patrick Bamford found the back of the net to restore parity for the away side.

In a Tweet after the game, the on-loan Arsenal striker has shared, “Never give up! Hard fought point. Thanks to the traveling fans," he tweeted after the game”.

Eddie, 20, now has three goals for Leeds United in the English Champions even though he has been a starter. He has made nine appearances and is making a good case for a starting role in subsequent matches.
