Ghanaian international Edwin Gyasi has shared his delight after featuring in his first match for CSKA Sofia since returning from his loan spell at MLS side FC Dallas.
He was loaned out to the Dallas-based club last year but returned to his parent club in the Bulgarian top-flight after what was an unsuccessful stint away from home.
Since January he has been training with CSKA Sofia but finally got to mark his return on the field of play when he was handed some minutes during his team’s clash with Levski Sofia over the weekend.
After a match where he played 70 minutes, Edwin Gyasi said, "It's good to be back."
He looks to be in good shape and is expected to be handed starting roles for CSKA Sofia in subsequent matches.
