According to the former Orlando Pirates player, the Black Stars have enough quality to pull it off, despite a bad start to the qualifiers.

Ghana are third in Group of E of the qualifiers, five points adrift of Egypt who lead the table and followed by Uganda in second place with four points.

However, the Helsingborg midfielder who use to be a constant member of the team believes with four games to go the team will qualify for Russia.

“I am backing of course the Black Stars because the team is full of quality and we can still pull it off,” Gyimah said.

“I am going to be praying for them so that we get the luck we need to compliment our efforts,” he added.

The Black Stars of Ghana will host the Red Devils of Congo on Friday in Kumasi for the third group game before leaving to Brazzaville for the second leg four days later.

Having being at the last three World Cups, the Black Stars will then travel to Kampala to face Uganda in October and finally draw the curtains down to the qualifiers at home to Egypt.
