Egyptian giants Zamalek and Smouha SC are interested in signing Ghanaian youngster Nana Kwame Acheampong following his impressive performance in the past seasons.
The 21-year, who currently plays for lower-tier side Telephonat Beni Suef SC has attracted interests from several clubs including the five-time CAF Champions League winners with manager Christian Cross delegating scouts to monitor his performance.
He is also on the radar of Smouha who are also following his progress and are prepared to fight for his signature ahead of the White Knights.
Acheampong joined Telephonat Beni Suef SC from Ghanaian lower-tier side Miracleland FC earlier this year on a loan deal.
It is rumoured that Zamalek and Smouha SC have contacted officials of Miracleland FC over the possible acquisition of the defensive midfielder and could complete a move to either side in the coming day after fruitful negotiations.
He was one of the highly rated midfielders in the National Division two league last season.
He will be hoping to put up another impressive display when Telephonat Beni Suef SC host Naser Malawy in Thursday in the Egyptian second Division League.
